"Cyberpunch" confronts traditionel puppetry with the possibilities of modern
media.

"Cyberpunch" builds on the long tradition of the english handpuppet "Mr.
Punch" who is still known for his brutal sense of humor.

"Cyberpunch" expands the actual theatre space to include the demention of
virtual space. The puppets move from the stage to the screen and them later to
a virtual space. Through the inclusion of realtime 3-D-animation on stage a
interactive connection between virtual and real puppets is created.

"Cyberpunch" poses questions in an unusual form about the use of technical
possibilities and the altering of visual realities.
